The absolute best view in Jerome. Definitely spring for a valley view room! The hotel is a VERY well preserved historical site with some modern updates like air conditioning. It's full of fantastic historical artifacts as well. One of the highlights for me was the fantastic vintage Otis elevator, a very rare experience for sure! Staff was super friendly and well versed in local history. Be aware that if you choose to explore town, heading downhill is MUCH easier than coming back up. You may also want a flashlight, we ran into some wild javelina in the parking lot after dark.

We had drinks on outside patio that was dog friendly. The service was excellent, waitress was very friendly and nice to talk too. I did use the restroom inside, it's has antique furnished to match the setting of the town. Restroom was a throw back to it's asylum days. The views are worth it. You can see the whole valley from the patio. Parking is limited but we went on a weekday so it was fairly easy. Tuesday is a closed day off for Jerome just as a heads up. All the shops will be closed so plan accordingly

What a great place to stay, very eclectic environment with a nice historical aspects and a bit of spooky. The hotel staff was super friendly rooms are big and very clean. I know this is a minor thing but it had the perfect water temp and pressure in the shower! Dinner at the Asylum restaurant in the hotel was superb! Will give them their own review! The view from the hotel is breath taking especially from a guy with a fear of hight’s lol. Definitely worth the money to stay here, the grounds guy gave us a tour of the vintage cars and it was one of my favorite highlights!

10/10 experience. Staff were all very nice. Room had a great view, was clean and comfortable. We did come for the ghost and we got a little bit of ghost. We stayed in room 26. Both me and my husband woke up at different points swearing we heard a man talking in the room. One time I went to open the bathroom door and it felt like someone was pulling it shut then another time I went to open it and before I could it opened up on its on.

We had no plans of staying at Jerome Grand Hotel but we also didn't know that we were going to visit Jerome on one of the two busiest days of the year plus the Halloween Ball. Almost every parking spot was taken and after a few laps and frustration of town, we made more climbing in the car up the road that we weren't even sure if or where it ended. Well......it ended at the Jerome Grand Hotel! Well, we now had a parking spot, now lets go see about vacancy. There was one and a nice little Standard Queen total was going to be $280.00. Well, my wife and I discussed it and we already drove all the way up this mountain and Jerome was on the travel list though NOT Route 66 but as many of us know. There are many cool places off of Route 66. So we splurged and checked in. Plus to me at the moment. Parking alone that day/night was worth $25.00.lol. They did have it decorated for the Halloween season and other than that and the history and a view out the front of the hotel overlooking the horizon, it fizzled out a bit from there. The old vintage elevator was cool and my wife and I both like historic buildings and stories but the room was pretty much a $129-$149 room at best. I agree with a few other reviews that the people working behind the desk were doing their job but not willing to go that bit extra. I think dressing a bit for a building of that historic era would have been a nice touch. Plus also at breakfast for what you are paying. A little more than a bowl of cereal or Continental would have been nice. I can't even remember the last time I had to fall back on cereal to get me on the road. Overall. It was a good memorable stay. No regrets. Would we stay again? Probably not. Now I can blow $300 like a drunken sailor and I am a Navy Veteran so I know, so it's not about money. As we all know. It's about how much bang do you get for your money. ;-)

We stayed here for our honeymoon, and they’ve done an incredible job renovating while still keeping that old, historic feel. We were on the 3rd floor, the most haunted one! We didn’t see anything or have any strange encounters, but you can definitely feel the history in the walls. The restaurant was beautiful and the food was delicious!! Next year is their 100-year anniversary, and we’ll definitely be coming back!
